BEIRUT (Zawya Dow Jones)--Kuwait's Mobile Telecommunications Co., or Zain said it's in talks for a majority stake in SyriaTel Mobile Telecom and is looking to expand in Yemen, Kuwait-based daily Al Watan reported Tuesday.
The cost of Zain's Saudi network will not exceed $2 billion, the paper said citing Saad Al Barrak, Zain's managing director.
