ABU DHABI, May 16 (KUNA) -- Kuwait represented by Minister of Communications Dr. Ismail Al-Shatti is due to take part in the 15th meeting of the GCC minsterial committee of mail, communications and information technology due to begin in the UAE capital on Wednesday.
A preparatory meeting had discussed reocmmendations and draft resolutions of the broad sessions.
Dr. Walid Al-Najjar, the undersecretary of the Kuwaiti ministry of communications, who had taken part in the preparatory debates, told KUNA that the participants discussed coordination and cooperation among the GCC states in the domains of the mail, communication fees and digital techniques.
They have also discussed internet security and wireless communications among the member states of the council.
