Mubasher: Kuwait and Saudi Arabia have reportedly reached an agreement to resume production from the fields of Khafji and Wafra in the neutral zone shared by the neighbouring countries, petroleum officials told Al-Anbaa newspaper.

According to those officials, both countries agreed to finish the works of Chevron Corporations in Mina Al Zour Area.

A group of companies will evaluate Chevron’s assets in Al Zour, Al-Anbaa revealed.

Kuwait and Saudi Arabia will develop the joint wells in Khafji and Wafra before the end of 2021 to maintain a production capacity of 500,000 barrels per day.
