KUWAIT, June 18 (KUNA) -- Bitter rivals Kuwait and Qadsiya clubs made it Monday to the semi-finals of the 45th Amir Cup football tournament after winning against Shabab and Suleibikhat in the quarter-finals.

In the first match, Kuwait smashed their counterparts Shabab with a 5-0 score in the game held at Al-Arabi's Sabah Al-Salem Stadium

The goals in the one sided match were scored by Mishaal Hamid, Bahraini national Talal Yousif, and Faraj Laheeb with Hamid scoring a hat-trick.

Meanwhile, Qadsiya answered Kuwait's score with another 5-0 win over Suleibikhat in the match held at Kazma club Stadium's.

Similar to the pervious match, Qadsiya finished their rivals off in the first half with a hat-trick scored by Khalaf Salama and a goal by mistake scored on the behalf of Suleibikhat defense.

The second half also witnessed a goal by Qadsiya's Abdulrahman Al-Moussa.

Qadsiya and Kuwait will meet in a fiery match next Friday which will put one of them in the final.

Tomorrow matches will square Kazma against Salmiya and Arabi against Tadamoun.
