KUWAIT CITY, Jan 28: The Director General of Civil Aviation is planning to install 10 X-ray machines at the airport's new gates to prevent people from smuggling contraband into the country by hiding inside the baggage to maintain safety and security of the airport and the aircraft, reports Al-Shahed daily.

The daily added the new machines are believed to be the most modern built with the state-of-the-art technology and are known for accuracy in discovering contrabands inside the baggage.
Such machines are currently being used at big airports around the world, the daily added.
