Kuwait Airways has received the third A320neo plane after being delivered from the Airbus plant in Hamburg, Germany, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) recently reported quoting the airline's CEO, Kamel Al Awadhi.

The new delivery is a part of a contract with Airbus to provide the Kuwaiti airline with up to 15 similar jets.

The Kuwaiti airline, moreover, is set to take delivery of the remaining planes in phases, as part of its approach to upgrade the fleet and passengers’ services.

In addition to the new delivery, the airline will further receive five other aircraft, including three A320neo planes and two A800-330 jets, the CEO explained, adding that all planes will be received in Kuwait by 2026.
