Dubai: January 12th, 2007 (WAM)- Jumeirah Beach Residence, DubaiProperties' first freehold development, will begin the handover of 36residential towers starting March until May 2007, Dubai Properties hasannounced.

The delivery of 6,500 apartments will take place over a three-monthperiod to ensure customized services for each resident.

IDAMA, Dubai Properties' facilities management company, will supervisethe delivery of the apartments and will be responsible for the ongoingmanagement, maintenance and administration of JBR master community.

As part of the delivering procedures, an appointment will be scheduledwith each home owner for the handover of their respective apartments.

Dubai Properties aim to offer value-added services to its customersas part of the development's commitment to provide a privileged beachfrontlifestyle. The phased delivery schedule will ensure that each customerwill receive distinctive and personalised service that they have cometo expect from the development.

Several features were added to the project including an off-sitedistrict cooling system, a central automatic waste management and disposalsystem and enhanced apartment finishing in order to offer optimum standardsof comfort to the home owners and investors alike.

Dubai Properties has also upgraded the adjacent beach road, turningit into a world-class 1.7km high street for pedestrians. The tree linedavenue includes shaded walkways and sculptured fountains.

The one-way system on the avenue will help ensure smooth trafficflow. The resulting reduced traffic congestion will provide JBR tenantsand visitors with speedier access to their residential units, beachfronthotels and other facilities.

The single phase Jumeirah Beach Residence development has beendivided into six zones: Shams (sun), Amwaj (waves), Rimal (sands), Bahar(sea), Sadaf (shells) and Murjan (coral reef), taking inspiration fromthe elements of the sea.

The waterfront development's four hotel towers and the outdoorbeachfront shopping boulevard - The Walk - will be launched in 2007.
