JEDDAH - NEW models of several vehicles will be launched during the Saudi International Motor Show being organized by Al-Harithy Company for Exhibitions Limited (ACE) from November 5 to 10 at the Jeddah International Exhibition and Convention Center.
General Motors is gearing up for a 'Bold New Era' at the Jeddah Motor Show with one of the most exciting and unique line up of cars and SUVs on display. GM's stand will be the largest at the show, providing the perfect platform for the much anticipated launch of the all-new Chevrolet Caprice, Lumina, Epica and Captiva into the Saudi market. Several other cars and SUVs across GM's Chevrolet, Cadillac and GMC brands will also be debuting at the Show, including starring roles for HUMMER and Saab.
Three models of Malaysian Proton cars will be launched during the show. Al-Rashed & Al-Thunayan Auto Co., the dealers of Proton cars will introduce two sedan cars and one hatch back.
The dealers of Dodge, United Motors Company will launch the two new models of their brands. 2007 models of Dodge Caliber and Jeep Compass will be unveiled during the motor show.
2007 Jeep Compass will distinguish itself not only as the new entry-level jeep, but also as the first jeep vehicle to be built on a front-wheel-drive platform, which it will share with the Dodge Caliber Crossover.
2007 models of Santa FE and Elantra will be launched by Mohammed Yousef Naghi Motors during the show. Whereas M45 Infiniti is also being launched by its dealer Al-Hamrani United Company.
Al-Hamrani Company, the dealers of Indian brand TATA are planning to launch four models of their vehicles which are Indigo, Indica, Marina and Sumo. Tata Motors is India's largest automobile company with revenues of $5.5 billions in 2005-06. With close to 4 million Tata vehicles plying in Camry and other vehicle's 2007 models will be another attraction for the visitors which will be displayed by their respective dealers during the show.
The other major participants of the show are Abdullah Hashim Co. (Honda cars and motorbikes), Abdul Lateef Jameel Co. (Daihatsu, Toyota), Alyemni Motors (Subaru), Mohammed Yousef Naghi Co. (Hyundai), Alesayi Motors (Mitsubishi), Al-Hamrani United Co. (Nissan, Infiniti), General Motors (Chevrolet, GMC, SAAB, Hummer, Cadillac), Kia Motors.
