AMMAN -- Japan has decided to extend a $114,189 grant to Al Hussein Labour Clinics for the improvement of medical equipment in Al Nuzha Clinic, according to a statement released by the Japanese embassy.
An agreement to that effect was signed on Thursday by Charge d' Affaires ad interim Masayuki Miyamoto and Khalid Zahir Al Fanatseh, chairman of Al Hussein Labour Clinics. The grant is within the framework of the Japanese Grant Assistance for Grass-roots Human Security Projects (GGP). This is the third grant extended by Japan to Al Hussein Labour Clinics.
Under the GGP, Japan has extended more than $ 8.6 million for 134 projects to NGOs, schools, hospitals and other departments in Jordan since 1993.
