Tehran - Jam Petrochemical Plant has installed a catalyst for producing linear low-density polymer (LLDP) products, the plant's managing-director said on Monday.
Tehran - Jam Petrochemical Plant has installed a catalyst for producing linear low-density polymer (LLDP) products, the plant's managing-director said on Monday.
Mohammad-Reza Beheshtian said the catalyst has been developed by experts in the company. The new catalyst is replacing an older one purchased from Basel, according to the Petroenergy news website SHANA.
Beheshtian said the polyethylene factory of Jam Petrochemical Plant is among the producers of polyethylene in the country with an annual capacity of 300,000 tons.
He said experts in the petrochemical plant moved to develop catalysts after facing restrictions in the purchase of catalysts due to international sanctions.
