BAGHDAD: The head of the National Alliance Dr Ibraheem al-Jaffari today met with the Iranian ambassador to Iraq, Hassan Dana'I Fer.

In a statement released by Jaffari's office, it noted both sides discussed the Iraqi political situation and ways of furthering cooperation between the two countries.

Jaffari confirmed that Iraq will continue to achieve national accomplishments on all political and economic levels and benefit from advanced levels of technology used by the world, so that Iraq will become an advanced country, his office reported.
