TEHRAN - The topside of an offshore platform at the South Pars (SP) Phase 7 has been installed 100km off Assaluyeh shore in southern Iran.

The SADRA Company's HLB5000 vessel placed the four-story deck, weighing 2,800 tons, on platform.

Two platforms for the phases 6 and 8 will be further installed in the sea.

Three drilling platforms, 30 wells, and three 32 inch offshore pipelines for transferring gas to the refinery are of the offshore installations of the phases 6-8.

The phases are scheduled to produce 104 million cubic meters of the sour and dry gas per day, 158 thousand barrels of condensates per day, and 1.6 million tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), namely propane and butane, each year.

The sweetening project of the phases is underway, having an annual capacity of four trillion cubic feet in four units.
