Abu Dhabi: Upgrade works in the East 6 Sector in Abu Dhabi are over 90 per cent complete and scheduled to be completed in June, the Abu Dhabi City Municipality announced on Saturday.

The project, which was started to cater for the growth in the area, is upgrading infrastructure including pavements and service roads, asphalt works, rainwater drainage network, water connections, services such as lighting and a single-level parking structure with a capacity to accommodate 204 cars.

The municipality said these works ensure the provision of modern services, world-class facilities and a sustainable living environment for all residents of the area.

The municipality is moving ahead with its infrastructure and rehabilitation projects in many fast-growing areas as mandated by service requirements and the Abu Dhabi Plan 2030.
