Mr Benno Geruschkat, GM of Grand Hyatt Amman, has been appointed Area Director of Egypt and Jordan, effective February 1, 2010. He will be overseeing the three Hyatt properties in Egypt, namely Grand Hyatt Cairo, Hyatt Regency Sharm El-Sheikh and Hyatt Regency Taba Heights, as well as Grand Hyatt Amman in Jordan. In addition to his new role, Geruschkat will continue in his current position as GM of Grand Hyatt Amman.
Since joining Hyatt in 1988 on an apprenticeship at Hyatt Regency Cologne, Geruschkat has had the opportunity to work at various Hyatt properties around the world, including Montreux, Casablanca, Macau, Paris and Mainz, which was his last stop prior to his arrival in Jordan in August 2007
