Riffa Views Signature Estates yesterday announced the appointment of PCC-Terna as the contractor for its Oasis Signature Estate during the launch ceremony of the first villas.
The groundbreaking at the Oasis site was celebrated and attended by Richard Browning, Riffa Views' chief executive, together with Christos A. Poullaides, managing director of PCC-Terna.
The groundbreaking ceremony marks the start of the countdown to the completion of more than one third of the 972-villa development and will enable more than 350 villas to be handed over to their owners by mid-2008.
Riffa Views is a joint venture between Arcapita and Bahrain International Golf Course Company and is the first golf residential development in Bahrain. The 972-villa project is a master planned concept for a luxurious community lifestyle that will provide a comprehensive range of sports, leisure and shopping facilities, including an 18-hole signature championship golf course designed by top international golf pro Colin Montgomerie.
