These are complemented by yoga classes, meditation sessions and beauty treatments such as body wraps, exfoliation and hydrotherapy.

Bob Christo, director of health and fitness at the spa, said, "At Golden Palms, our promise has always remained consistent, we restore harmony in all three dimensions of one's existence - physical, emotional and spiritual.

"We accomplish this thanks to our unparalleled facilities, gentle and caring service, beautiful settings and most important with the help of some of the world's best specialists in spa treatments and wellness."

"As you enter Golden Palms you are immediately filled with a sense of calm. The sprawling lawns dotted with cobbled courtyards, walking trails and Moorish style casitas add to the overall grandeur of the property, whilst the numerous water bodies and the multitude of birds create a soothing environment where the spa connoisseur can indulge to their heart's content," he added.

Nestled among 19 acres of exquisitely landscaped gardens and strategically located 25 minutes away from the city centre, the Golden Palms Hotel and Spa offers guests a choice of 150 elegantly furnished rooms and suites not to mention two Presidential Suites - Tipu Sultan and Poorniya.

The hotel offers a varied choice of six food and beverage outlets including Garden of Eden, the signature restaurant at the hotel and a paradise for seafood lovers offering trans-ethnic international food with Asian and Arabic flavours.

"In order to make Golden Palms all the more enticing, special care has been taken to ensure that guests from the Middle East get the best experience possible.

"Arabic satellite channels are available in all rooms and suites and halal meat is served at all restaurants," said General Manager Mohit Bhargava.

"And let's not forget the allure of the city of Bangalore. The resort is located 1,000 metres above sea level and experiences light rain, fresh and cool air, an ideal place for dreaming and self-indulgence.

"Guests can also venture out and enjoy nearby attractions including the Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium and Cubbon National Park," he added.
