Gas production capacity of South Pars phases four, five up by 35m cubic feet

Managing Director of Pars Oil and Gas Company, Mohammad-Reza Zahiri, said on Sunday that gas production capacity of phases 4 and 5 of South Pars gas field has risen by 35 million cubic feet.

Zahiri said that the extra gas output has been yielded by acidification of the 4th well of South Pars phase four.

He said the acidification project started in March and is now complete.

He added that the 35 million cubic feet increase in gas output will be stored for the winter demand.
