Abu Dhabi, Mar 06th, 2010 (WAM) -- For the third year running, G4S, a global firm in security solutions, organized its annual "Happy Day" with 220 orphaned children from Abu Dhabi, Mussafah and Baniyas with their mothers and staff from the Abu Dhabi, Red Crescent.
This year "Happy Day" was celebrated at the G4S Head Office in collaboration with the Red Crescent Orphan Society. Commenting on this occasion, G4S Regional Managing Director, Mr. Rory Mallon said: "Being one of the worlds largest employers we recognize our responsibility to give back to the communities in which we all live and work. Organizing a happy day with orphans allows all our staff in the UAE to become involved in a constructive and pleasurable investment in the community. I would like to thank Red Crescent and the children for allowing us to celebrate with them and we wish them continued success and recognition for their valuable work". Sara Qassim Al Hemeri gave a speech on behalf of the Red Crescent thanking G4S for their initiative and helping the orphans have such a fun filled day, and afterworlds she presented Rory Mallon, Regional Managing Director with a certificate of appreciation from the Red Crescent.Happiness reflected on the faces during the event that featured Emarati Harbiya dancers, Arabic food, henna painters which aided the Arabian Night theme for the evening as well as a bouncy castle, performing magician, a balloon-bending clown, face-painting and organized games created the perfect fun-experience for the children.
