KUWAIT, May 3 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti Diplomatic Institute will start as of Sunday launching a program of international by a lecture to be given by former Moroccan Foreign Minister Mohamed Ben issa under the title (Culture and Diplomacy).

The launching of the lectures will be under the auspices and presence of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister and Chairman of the Kuwaiti Diplomatic Institute Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah.

Director of the institute Ambassador Abdulaziz Al-Sharekh told KUNA the foreign ministry has invited a large number of politicians and media figures to attend this event stemming from its belief of the role played by diplomacy in dealing with international issues.

Ben Issa arrived in the country yesterday in response to an invitation he received from Sheikh Mohammad to deliver this lecture at 6:00 p.m. Sunday at the headquarters of the Kuwaiti Diplomatic Institute located in the Al-Sharqiya school for boys.

The foreign ministry welcomed the presence of all those who wish to listen to this lecture.

The ambassador revealed that program of the Institute's would also include a lecture by former British Prime Minister Tony Blair in the coming weeks in addition to a number of political figures, international academics and Arab personalities.

He pointed out that the Institute was currently implementing its second training program for Kuwaiti diplomats on topics related to media culture, explaining that the Institute had recently completed its first training program on the economic culture.
