* Wind lull supports German price; France up more
* Curve tracks weaker fuels, carbon
* Russia extends deadline in Ukraine gas dispute
FRANKFURT, June 2 (Reuters) - European spot power prices rose on Monday on forecasts for lower wind power supply on the day ahead, though the impact was tempered by high solar levels.
The German baseload power contract for delivery on Tuesday
The equivalent French contract was 3.10 euros up at 37.10 euros.
German wind power production was seen falling slightly to 879 megawatts (MW) on Tuesday, having lost 70 percent on the daily average levels between Friday and Monday, Thomson Reuters Point Carbon figures showed.
German solar levels were pegged at 7.4 gigawatts (GW) on Tuesday, some 1.8 GW above levels last Friday. Temperatures are about 15 degrees Celsius on a 24-hour basis in Germany and at 17 degrees in France.
Consumption will be about 62 GW per day in Germany and around 48-49 GW in France this working week.
Power curve prices were mostly down, tracking lower European gas, coal and carbon prices, with oil also dropping.
The Cal '15 baseload power contract for next-year delivery
The equivalent French benchmark contract was last steady at 41.9 euros.
The talking point in energy markets was the gas crisis that looms between Russia and Ukraine.
Moscow last offered Kiev a respite in a dispute over billions of dollars of unpaid bills, extending its payment deadline into next week. It had previously threatened to turn off the taps on Tuesday.
Elsewhere, in trade statistics, the EEX bourse said it traded 73.6 terawatt hours of European power futures in May, 10 percent more than in the same month a year earlier, helped by more activity in French and Belgian futures. ($1 = 0.7328 Euros)
