Abu Dhabi: Etihad Holidays, a division of Etihad Airways, has launched its Eid programme, which contains deals at more than 30 hotels in destinations in Africa, Europe, the Far East and Middle East.

The deals, which include breaks to Cape Town from Dh4,510, Bangkok from Dh5,720 and Amman from Dh4,410, are packed with bonus offers such as complimentary extra nights, room upgrades, breakfast and airport transfers.

Featured in the Eid packages are "hot deals" which offer exceptional value for money for breaks at five star luxury hotels in Thailand, Malaysia and South Africa.

"Hot deals" in the Eid programme include the Millennium Resort Patong in Phuket from Dh6, 885 and the Hotel Le Vendome in Cape Town from Dh6850. Prices includes all applicable taxes and surcharges.

Peter Baumgartner, Etihad Airways' chief commercial officer, said: "Many people are keen to go on a short break for Eid but aren't sure where to go, so the new Etihad Holidays programme is ideal because there is so much to choose from, whether short haul to Muscat or the Dead sea, or further a field to the beaches of Thailand or a city break in England."

Eid deals to Thailand, one of Etihad's most popular destinations, include the four star Imperial Queens Park in Bangkok from Dhs5, 720 for a three night stay and the five star Grand Sukhumvit Hotel from Dhs6, 065.

Also on offer is three nights at the Novotel Phuket from Dh6, 725. In addition to return flights from Abu Dhabi to Bangkok, Phuket holiday deals also include return flights to the island of Phuket with Etihad's codeshare partner Bangkok Airways.
