Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said on Sunday that the enemies will not be allowed to create clashes among Shia and Sunni Muslims in Sudan.
Amir-Abdollahian, who is currently on a visit to South Africa, noted that Iran and Sudan official talks are underway to launch cultural centers in both countries.
In a telephone interview with IRNA reporter, he said in reaction to attempts to create obstacles in the way of Iran's cultural centers' activities in Sudan that the extremists will not be able to harm bilateral ties.
Amir-Abdollahian said that there is no obstacle in the way of cultural cooperation between Iran and Sudan and that the unfounded allegations by certain media and individuals in Sudan are aimed at diverting public opinion from the main problem of the Muslim World, that's the legitimate campaign of the Palestinian resistance movement to liberate their motherland from the Israeli occupation and the defeat the occupying regime suffered from the people of Palestine in Gaza in the course of 50 days war began on July 8, 2014.
