Doha - Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani yesterday ratified an agreement project on the establishment of an investment company between Syrian and Qatar . The agreement was signed in Qatar last May by Minister of Finance, Mohammed Hussein , and his Qatarian counterpart, Yousuf Hussein Kamal.
The agreement stipulates the establishment of a Qatari holding company for investment with a capital of USD 5 billions and can invest in all the economic, tourist, educational and industrial spheres in Syria. It is worthy to mention that President Bashar al-Assad ratified the agreement last month.
