DUBAI, 21st October, 2015 (WAM) -- Dubai Internet City (DIC) has announced its strategic partnership with the Dubai Museum of the Future Foundation for the UAE Drones for Good Award 2016 for the second consecutive year.

An agreement was signed by Majed Al Suwaidi, Managing Director of Dubai Internet City and Dubai Outsource City, and Saif Al-Aleeli, CEO of the Dubai Museum of the Future Foundation at DIC?s pavilion at GITEX Technology Week.

DIC will once again host the competition, which was launched at the 2014 Government Summit by Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to encourage the development of positive humanitarian and economic uses of drones.

Commenting, Majed Al Suwaidi said; "Drones for Good is an excellent initiative, and a global platform for innovative ideas and the creation of new technology to serve humanity.
