ArabFinance: Arabian Food Industries Company (Domty) (DOMT) announced it has signed a contract with the US company AMF to buy two bakery production lines at a value of 2.5 million, according to a statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

The aforementioned amount of money represents the value of the machines used in baking and not the total cost of the two production lines, Domty highlighted.

The remaining necessary equipment will be purchased from other suppliers, the company added.

Moreover, the total estimated cost of the lines will reach about EGP 110 million.

The company is currently considering the purchase of sterilization equipment and tanks required to expand in production from Tetrapak at an estimated cost of EGP 30-35 million, including construction.

This comes as a response to the recently published news entitled Domty targets boosting investments by EGP 100-150 million.

Domty is an Egypt-based company engaged in the production and sale of dairy products, including cheese products, such as Tetra Pak cheese, plastic tubes cheese, mozzarella cheese, and spread cheese, as well as milk products and juices.
