BAGHDAD: Deputy Prime Minister Saleh al-Mutlaq discussed on Monday with Czech Ambassador to Iraq, Bronislava Tomasova, activating economic and investment cooperation, according to an official statement.
"The meeting tackled ways to expand relations in agricultural and irrigation fields, in addition to boosting investment cooperation," said the statement received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
"The ambassador expressed his country's support to the new Iraqi government and the Czech companies' readiness to support Iraq in irrigation and reclamation fields and implementing strategic projects," it added.
