Thi-Qar - Al-Ahrar bloc within the Sadr Trend announced dismissing the head of its office in Thi-Qar and two of its members within Thi-Qar Provincial Council.

A statement by al-Ahrar bloc received by AIN cited "We have decided to dismiss the head of the office of Ahrar office in Thi-Qar province, Waleed Khalid al-Zarqani and the members of Thi-Qar PC, Hassan La'ouis and Hassan Sanad in addition to taking all the authorities granted to them."

It is worth mentioning that some members of al-Ahrar bloc in Thi-Qar province have split from the bloc where La'ouis was nominated as the first Deputy Governor of Thi-Qar province.
