ArabFinance: British American Tobacco (BAT) is offering its tobacco heating product (THP) glo in the Egyptian market during the first quarter of 2021, according to a December 26th emailed press release.

The new THP comes as part of BATs plan to pump more investments into the local market, the companys General Manager for Egypt, Sudan, Libya, and Tunisia Liban Ahmed noted.

BAT highlights that glo was designed in the UK through a process that included over 100 experts across five continents. The company also offers glo Hyper THP, which features advanced induction heating technology.

The US Food and Drug Administration, meanwhile, authorized last July the marketing of Philip Morris Products IQOS Tobacco Heating System as modified risk tobacco products.
