The kingdom’s leading recycling company, Crown Industries, officially launched its newly-built state-of-the-art Waste Incineration Plant at South Alba Industrial Area yesterday.

Crown Incineration service uses a high-tech, fully-automated incinerator with 100 per cent environmental compliance to serve the hazardous industrial waste disposal needs of Bahrain.

The first-of-its-kind incineration plant in the country has the capacity to handle 70 tonnes of waste per day and is built with world-class technology to handle hazardous, industrial, chemical and bio-medical waste.

Held under the patronage of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed Alzayani, the event was attended by a number of companies, industries, hospitals, and ministries related to waste disposal.
