The Baghdad Soft Drinks Company held a meeting on Thursday for its board of directors to discuss the issue of making their establishment a private rather than a government-owned firm.
The Baghdad Soft Drinks Company held a meeting on Thursday for its board of directors to discuss the issue of making their establishment a private rather than a government-owned firm.
"The meeting took place at the Babel Hotel in Baghdad," read a release issued by the Baghdad Stock Market and received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
A source from the Market said that the step comes as part of the move toward the market economy as the state contribution to the Company has been reduced to 15 percent.
