Baghdad Governor calls Iraqis to update their electoral records

Baghdad (AIN) -The Governor of Baghdad Province, Ali al-Timimi, called the Iraqis to update their electoral records to largely participate in the next elections.

A statement by the Governorate of Baghdad province received by AIN cited "While visiting a center for updating the electoral records, Timimi called all the Iraqis in Baghdad to go to the electoral centers and update their electoral records."

"We had a good participation for the update of the electoral records in Ubaidi area and I call all to adhere to the calls of the religious authority to visit the electoral centers and contribute in establishing democracy by choosing the best nominees," he added.

According to the statement, he praised "The Sante League method in the elections that allows the small blocs to participate in the elections."
