KHASAB/MUSCAT -- Atana Hotels has started welcoming local and international tourists to the newly opened Atana Musandam Hotel -- since the soft opening -- to experience the stunning surroundings of the Musandam peninsula. The hotel boasts of 105 rooms that speak in volumes about rich Omani architectural heritage and has been receiving tourists from Oman and neighbouring countries in large numbers. "The hotel had a promotional offer of RO 28 per night to mark the soft launch, while room prices are generally expected to vary around RO 40 to RO 50 depending on the demand during peak tourist seasons.
Visitors who do not wish to be imprisoned to the hotel luxuries can opt for a day-long dhow cruises that offer even lunch and snacks, besides options to trek, dive, snorkelling or simply enjoy the natural beauty where mountains kisses the pristine waters.
Oman's Tourism Development Company, Omran, has played a key role in developing the local tourism infrastructure, by investing in projects and managing hospitality assets within the Sultanate, while laying the groundwork for the formation of the Atana Hotels brand under the umbrella of the National Omani Hospitality Company (NOHC), an Omran subsidiary.

Since the soft opening of the property in April 2014, the hotel has witnessed a rapid uptake of visitor enquiries and bookings from within the Sultanate and throughout the region.
