KUWAIT, July 22 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received Sunday at Sief Palace Chairman of the Kuwaiti Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ali Mohammad Thunayan Al-Ghanim and members of the Chamber, where they tendered to HH the Amir recommendations of the private sector's second conference, which was recently held under the auspices of HH the Amir.
During the reception, HH the Amir underscored the vital role played by the private sector in fortifying the national economy and its contribution in the process of multi-diverting sources of the national income, which would lead the country to broader development prospects.
On his part, Al-Ghanim expressed gratitude to HH the Amir's support for the private sector in the aim of turning Kuwaiti into a financial and commercial center.
The reception was attended by Nasser Abdullah Al-Roudhan, the Chairman's First Deputy Hilal Mishari Al-Mutairi and members of the Chamber Salah Fahad Al-Marzouq, Abdulwahab Al-Wazzan and Abdullah Saud Al-Humaidhi.
