KUWAIT, Sept 10 (KUNA) -- Al-Kuwait Club's football match against Brazil's Atletico Paranaense, set for Friday, is a valuable opportunity for local players to gain more experience and skill, said the Kuwaiti club's football director Adel Oqla on Wednesday.
Speaking to KUNA, he said this game would help Al-Kuwait's players prepare for the local games, the most important of which was the Super Game against Al-Arabi Club on September 21, as well as the match against Al-Nasr Club next Tuesday within games of Kuwait Football Federation Cup.
He added that Chilean professional player Sebastian Pinto would be playing with Al-Kuwait Club for the first time in this game against the Brazilians, noting that this would determine whether or not the team would seal a contract with him.
The Brazilian team has recently played three games in the UAE in preparation for the Brazilian Parana Cup later this month.
The Atletico Paranaense football team will arrive in Kuwait on Thursday. It was established in 1924 and won the Brazilian Cup in 2001.
