Abu Dhabi, June 4th, 2012 (WAM) -- The official holiday to mark Al Israa Wal Miraaj, the ascension of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) will be on June 17.
Humaid Mohammed Obaid Al Qattami, Minister of Education and Board Chairman of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources said in a circular: "Al Israa Wal Miraaj " holiday for workers in the federal ministries and bodies will be on Sunday, 27 Rajab 1433 AH corresponding to June 17th. This is in accordance with the article no.100 of the Cabinet Resolution No. 13 of 2012 on the Regulations of the law of human resources in the federal government. On this occasion, Al Qattami expressed his congratulations to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and to their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, wishing them good health and prosperity.
