Abu Dhabi, 11 Nov.05 (WAM) -- Around 57 exhibitors will represent the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in the World Travel Market to be held in London from November 14 to 17.
Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Chairman of AbuDhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA), said the London event represents an excellent opportunity for participants to interact with key global tourism and travel players.
''The significance of this high profile forum to the UAEstems out of the UAE-British strategic partnership and the importance of the British travel and tourism market for the UAE as a large groups of British holidaymakers visit the UAE around the year,'' he said.
''Travel and tourism operators in Abu Dhabi willtake the opportunity of the forum to promote Abu Dhabi'slandmarks and attractions to the European tourists,''he added.
He said that Abu Dhabi will as of next year have strongpresence in major world travel and tourism exhibitions and conferences to be organised in major capitals.
According to him, the first Abu Dhabi Golf Tournamentto be hosted from 19 to 22 Januray, 2005 will be heavily promoted during the event.
The UAE's luxurious Emirates Palace hotel will be amongthe key landmarks to be marketed and promoted through the ADTA'S pavilion.
