State-owned Abu Dhabi General Services Company (Musanada) has invited companies to bid for the design tenders of buildings for Abu Dhabi police in the Abu Dhabi and Al Ain region.

The first tender is for design services of four buildings in Training City in Abu Dhabi, including a mosque. The second tender covers design services of three police stations in Al-Ain and an industrial civil defense building in Al-Mafraq, Abu Dhabi, according to a published tender announcement.

"The construction tender will be issued after completion of designing of these buildings," a Musanada official told Zawya. He declined to give a timeframe for when the construction contract would be issued.

According to the tender invite, the last date to submit the response is 20 August, 2014.

Companies eligible to participate in the tender should be licensed in the field of design consultancy services in Abu Dhabi emirate and should have provided design services for a minimum of three civic projects with a value of at least AED 60 million (USD 16.3 million) each in the last five years in UAE.

Last week, Musanada invited contractors to bid for eight projects by Abu Dhabi Police.  The tenders were issued for projects in Training City, Al Haffar and Mussaffah in Abu Dhabi, and Falaj Hazza in Al Ain.
