ABU DHABI- Abdullah Mohamed Al Mazrouei, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Chamber, has received Khemissi Arif, Ambassador of Algeria to the UAE, and the accompanying delegation at the Chamber’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of Mohamed Helal Al Mheiri, Director-General of Abu Dhabi Chamber.
At the beginning of the meeting, Al Mazrouei welcomed the newly appointed ambassador, wishing him all the best in performing his duties in cementing relations between the UAE and Algeria.
The sides discussed the best means of boosting cooperation and trade exchange between businesses in Abu Dhabi and Algeria in a way that contributes to enhancing the prospects of their joint investments.
Al Mazrouei also briefed the Algerian Ambassador on the Chamber's services and its innovative initiatives to support businesses in Abu Dhabi, especially that the Emirate provides an conducive environment for startups and an advanced investment climate for investors, making it an ideal destination for Algerian investments and a great gateway for Algerian exports to Asian markets.
The Chairman highlighted Abu Dhabi Chamber's eagerness to enhance its trade and investment cooperation with Algeria to better serve Emirati and Algerian businesses and investors.
For his part, Ambassador Arif highlighted the UAE's leading position regionally and internationally and the need to solidify cooperation relations between the two countries in all fields, especially the economic and trade sectors.
The Ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciation for the hospitality shown by Abu Dhabi Chamber, and his hopes that his visit would contribute to increasing exchanged visits between Emirati businesspeople and their Algerian counterparts.
