Another first
2Connect, the Kingdom's link to the next generation of telecommunications services, has launched its latest Internet business service; a 10Mbit/s Burstable bandwidth package that will cater to the increasing internet needs of business around the Kingdom.
2Connect, Vice President, Marketing, Francis Pepin said, "Companies in Bahrain have been waiting for such an internet package. Burstable bandwidth allows the customer throughput bursts to cater for unusual or irregular peaks in demand without incurring additional cost for those peaks. By adding this 10Mbit/s Burstable bandwidth package to our product portfolio, we are addressing the growing demand for faster connectivity and improved download speeds."

Burstable bandwidth Internet packages currently offered through 2Connect's network include speeds of up to 4Mbit/s, 6 Mbit/s, 8Mbit/s and, now, 10Mbit/s.
