Tehran - Some 227 foreign features, short and documentary films from 63 countries will be screened at the international section of Fajr Film Festival, to be held from January 31-February 10. Announcing this, the secretary of the festival added some 128 Iranian and 149 foreign film will participate in the competition and non-competition sections.
Majid Shah-Hosseini added some 38 'Crystal Simorgh (phoenix)' will be granted to the best Iranian films.
He noted that 15 foreign and 5 Iranian film directors will judge the event.
Fajr Film Festival is an annual event held during Ten Days of Dawn celebrations to mark the anniversary of the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
