Statkraft AS is a Norway-based company in hydropower internationally and Europe’s largest generator of renewable energy. The Group produces hydropower, wind power, solar power, gas-fired power and supplies district heating. Its business activities are divided into five business segments: Nordics, Europe, International, Markets, and Technology and project delivery. The Nordics segment covers asset ownership and operations for the Group’s hydro- and wind power businesses in Norway and Sweden, as well as the Baltic Cable subsea interconnector between Sweden and Germany. The International segment focuses on developing, owning, and operating onshore wind, solar, and hydropower assets in Brazil, Chile and Peru. The Markets includes proprietary trading.
