Today, the competition is in its third run and encompasses over 200 schools in Kuwait, making it the largest annual science competition in Kuwait.
Kuwait Science Fair Managing Director, Ms. Aseel Al-Turkait: "We would like to thank REUSE organizers for inviting the young innovators of the Kuwait Science Fair, as this is a great opportunity for them to take part in social projects that have inspired many people in Kuwait. We continue to encourage our young innovators and other aspiring scientists to challenge themselves in math and science. We were very proud to witness the creation of some of the most innovative projects over the last two years of the competition, and we would like students to share their hard work, findings and solutions in exhibitions like REUSE."
REUSE is an annual exposition devised by the 'en.v' initiative to promote eco-friendly living in Kuwait through creative mediums such as film, fashion, art, music and more. During these expositions, REUSE dedicates a 'Social Programs' corner to showcase social initiatives that have impacted the Kuwaiti community educationally, environmentally or socially.
en.v Managing Partner and CEO, Mr. Zahed Al Sultan, said: "We are happy to have the Kuwait Science Fair exhibit their achievements amongst Kuwait's most significant social programs at REUSE 4.0. The competition is one of very few that guides students into the application of math and science through analytical thinking. These young innovators have excelled over the recent years and we look forward to hosting their works in future editions of REUSE."
The Kuwait Science Fair is a five-month long competition launched in September of every year, inspiring over 400 students to date. The winners of the competition's third chapter will exhibit their projects on the 19th March 2011.
