In his speech, HE Senator Abu-Ghazaleh addresses the role of youth in knowledge society, which provides unprecedented opportunities for invention and innovation of knowledge tools enabling the youth to lead the knowledge transformation in the world.
The Forum deals with three angles: the digital participation of Arab youth, the role of modern technology in youth enabling, and the third is enhancement of national policies concerned with youth issues.
On the occasion of holding the Development Summit on January 19, 2011 in Sharm El Sheik, Egypt, taking into account the significance of this event and considering the youth's dimension intersection with all development issues presented on the Summit's agenda, the League of Arab States, the social sector in cooperation with the Council of Ministers of Youth and Sports and the concerned bodies in Egypt with the support of Arab and international bodies, intend to organize the Arab Youth Forum.
