MSc in International Marketing Management with Digital Marketing will address organisations' evolving requirements

Dubai - Heriot-Watt University Dubai, the first overseas university to open a campus in Dubai International Academic City, has launched a new Masters Degree: International Marketing Management with Digital Marketing.

The course - which has run successfully for two years at Heriot-Watt's UK campus - isdesigned to develop marketing management expertise for today's global, digital economy.MSc International Marketing Management with Digital Marketing's introduction at the Dubai campus will give students interested in marketing, the expertise to differentiate themselves in an increasinglycompetitive and digital economy.

Rodrigo Perez-Vega,assistant professor in the School of Management and Languages at Heriot-Watt University Dubai will be the course lead and brings his extensive experience in digital marketing and brand management roles for FMCG and service organisations.

Perez-Vega said: "Organisations are continuously looking for ways to develop an effective presence on social media and digital platforms to increase awareness, sales and consumer engagement with their brands. There is considerable interest in how social media interactions influence behaviour and a growing practitioner interest in how to apply these techniques within social media"

The Masters degree will develop a mix of skills and abilities in students that can be applied in the marketing field through course elements including a focuson Contemporary Consumers, Strategic Marketing, Branding and Communications and Advances in Digital Marketing.
