Turkish -Kurdistan Workers Party PKK announced on Tuesday, the arrival of the vanguard of his withdrawing forces from Turkish territory to the Iraqi border in Kurdistan region , which included 15 armed element as a first group.
The withdrawn group's leader named Jakr said to a group of journalists, including "Shafaq News" reporter that "the withdrawing group from PKK fighters, which includes 15 fighters came from Bhutan Mountain in Kurdistan (North areas with Kurdish majority in Turkey) to Haror area behind Mateen Mountain in Kurdistan ".
He added that "the group moved seven days ago," stressing that "the Turkish army was watching them along the way".
It is worth mentioning that Turkish government and PKK started lengthy negotiations by the intervention of the leaders of Kurdistan region and Turkish Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the leader of PKK (imprisoned on Imrali island in the center of Marmara Sea ), Abdullah Ocalan reached an agreement through intermediaries that included the armed elements of the party leaving from inside Turkish territory as a prelude to solve the Kurdish issue in Turkey through dialogue.
Kurdistan Workers' Party is a Kurdish organization which has since 1984 been fighting an armed struggle against the Turkish state for an autonomous Kurdistan and cultural and political rights for the Kurds in Turkey.
