RIYADH (Zawya Dow Jones)--Saudi Arabia has completed its purchase of 450,000 tons of hard wheat for delivery from July to September, the government board for grain supply said on Sunday.

The purchased wheat meets the tender requirement of having 12.5% protein, the General Organization for Grain Silos and Flour Mills said in a statement posted on the website of the state news agency.

The purchase is part of the kingdom's policy of maintaining a six-month national supply.
