JEDDAH: The Saudi International Motor Show 06 will be inaugurated by the Minister of Transport Dr. Jabara Bin Eid Al-Suraisari Sunday at the Jeddah International Exhibition and Convention Center.
The 28th edition of the annual motor show is being organized by Al-Harithy Company for Exhibitions Limited (ACE) from November 5 to 10 and supported by Ministry of Transport, Jeddah Traffic Department and Saudi Arabian Standards Organization (SASO). The exhibition is sponsored by the National Commercial Bank.The show will continue its long lasting tradition of displaying widest range of vehicles. Premium brands of automotive vehicles representing all segments from cars and motor bikes to trucks will be showcased. The display zone will include volume production vehicles, light commercial vehicles, After-market Auto Care, Heavy Commercial Vehicles, Saudi Desert and modified cars.
Regular highlights include; Media Zone, Live Action Zone and Family Zone featuring Carting Race Championship, Hydraulic Car Show, Remote-control Car Racing, Gallery for Car Paintings, Gallery for Miniature Cars, Modified Sports Cars and many more.
The display zones include Volume Production Vehicles, Light Commercial Vehicles, After-market Autocare, Heavy Commercial Vehicles, Saudi Desert and Modified Cars.
The Saudi International Motor Show achieved the enviable position as the Kingdom's national Showcase and one of the region's key meeting places for the automotive industry. Owing to its impressive track record, some of the world's leading automotive manufacturers have been consistently ensuring their participation in the show. The automotive companies do not compromise to ensure their presence in this annual event and most of them use this platform for launching their new brands and models.
Participants at this year's motor show are General Motors (Chevrolet, GMC, SAAB, Hummer, Cadillac), Abdul Lateef Jameel Co. (Toyota, Lexus, Daihatsu), United Motors (Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep), Al Hamrani United Company (Nissan, Infiniti, TATA), Mohammed Yousuf Naghi Motors (Hyundai), Abdullah Hashim Co. The exhibition will be open for public daily from 5 to 10 p.m. from Monday.
