Muscat: Rural Areas Electricity Company (Raeco) and Al Maha Petroleum Products Marketing Co. have signed a OMR40.5 million agreement for supplying diesel to the former's diesel fired power plants in Al Wusta and Musandam governorates.
The contract was awarded by the Tender Board for a two-year period between June 1, 2013 and May 31, 2015. Power plants in Khasab, Al Bai'a, Madhaa, Duqm, Haj, Al Khuweimah, Khaluf and Sarab will receive diesel from Al Maha Petroleum.
