Abu Dhabi/ Al Ain (26 May, 2015): As part of its Emiratisation Initiative aimed at enhancing the participation of UAE citizens in the bank, the National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) has launched a part-time employment scheme, for UAE nationals only, to serve the Bank’s clients in its various contact centres.

Under the initiative, the new recruits will be working five days a week, for four hours a day with full employment benefits.

Ehab Hassan, Senior Managing Director & Group Chief Human Resources Officer, said: “NBAD is committed to supporting the government initiative and helping Emirati jobseekers by offering them suitable job placements that will ensure stability without affecting personal obligations such as family and education. The part-time employment is an example of NBAD’s contributions in providing job opportunities for UAE nationals who are eager to gain knowledge and experience to grow and contribute in the development of the nation.”

To qualify for NBAD’s part-time employment scheme, candidates should have a minimum of a high school degree; pass CID and medical examination as well as the interview and assessment process.

Part-time employees will join the Bank’s contact centres in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Female candidates who wish to work in a women only workspace can join the Al Ain contact centre, a facility that is managed and staffed exclusively by Emirati women.
