MUSCAT -- Oman Cables Industry (OCI) has won contracts valued at approximately $32 million from a number of engineering-procurement-construction (EPC) contractors. The Rusayl-based manufacturer said in a filing to the Capital Market Authority (CMA) that the end users are well-known oil companies operating in the region. The cables will be delivery over the next 12 months, it added. "This underscores OCI's successful approach of diversifying its marketing effort into non-traditional sectors, while retaining its core markets and channels," it stated.
